One of the defining aspects of being human is our ability to co-operate and work together: in fact it is probably what led to our dominance of the planet today.

We are social creatures and, while you may not see many statues to committees, every great achievement that we have made has been the result of collaboration.
Unfortunately, we are also prone to disagreement and this can lead to violence and even war. Since November 2009 there has been very vocal disagreement about climate change.
